Reed in sphinx shape. Ary decided to stand on top of him for some reason. Not really sure why.

I did a stupid thing and didn’t bother referencing until I was basically done and it was too late for me to really change anything. oh well. Learned things. Not bad for my first Ary-sphinx. I had an attempt wayyy way back and I never finished it because I was struggling with liking anything I produced. I think I may have only finished a 10th of the things I’d started back then. 
I like how this turned out though. Botched Reed’s colors a little bit but didn’t want to go back and redo them. I used what I learned to make Ary turn out fine. Hahaha. (Essentially I got too detail focused with Reed and it ruined the natural smoothness of the simpler gradients and made them muddy looking. You can see how much smoother his colors are in my initial triad sampling of Reed sphinxes from last week.)

Allison, I promised you Ary in a speedo once. I’m going to deliver.

Ahahaha this is great!  I really love the contrast in body types between the two.  Reed’s blue quad parts are very fitting for him, and nicely designed (his mane is glorious and he’s so fuzzyyyyy <333), and I love Aryian’s forequarters/forearms and feet!  He folds up neatly heh!  I’m really enjoying their expressions too, and the way Ary’s hair hangs.  Your use of gradients and the way you color is gorgeous as always.  Thank you so much for this!

I really love Crispy’s lockjaws, and this is what came of a sketch that was supposed to be something completely different go figger.

I imagine PW could make quite the game out of “let’s copy other shapeshifters” and would probably entertain emself for hours on end following Ary and Jeih around (provided they didn’t drive em off after the first five minutes).

Eir not too shy about wrestling either, buuuuut ey might meet eir match if Jeih barrels over Ary to get to em.

Haha aww that’s super cute!  I like how mischievous Jeih looks and PW’s silly pose there.  And I love how Aryian is standing all alert and dominant and how he looks not all that amused by the shenanigans heheh.  It’s an interesting little back story to the sketch too, thank you!  :D

Edit: For anyone who isn’t familiar with Locks, they aren’t known to be affectionate. Though Jeih and Ary made me think so much of cats and how when they want attention, they get it! Crazy is cranky because she was trying to nap and these two goofs are blocking the zzz’s
